Ryan Crouser Wins USA Track and Field Award for Best Rio Olympic Field Performance


Ryan Crouser Smashed the Olympic record in the men’s shot put to win Olympic gold, recording a massive throw of 22.52m/73-10.75 to break the 28-year-old record.

The Wing Awards, formerly known as the Fan’s Choice Awards, were also handed out Saturday evening. Athletes were nominated in five categories for their phenomenal 2016 performances. Crouser was also a nominee for the Jesse Owens Award as well as the Breakthrough Athlete of the Year Award.
